I watched fall turn into winter from the other side of the country this year. I arrived in Spokane, Washington with bright leaves covering all the trees… and pretty pine trees of course. It was the best of both worlds. I left Buffalo during the peak of colorful fall leaves! I had weeks packed full of fall photos, mini sessions, and lots of time outside during our 70 degree days. And then I was able to enjoy it again in Washington State with my brother's family!
Fall finished up here just in time for me to leave. The huge tree in my brother and sister in-law’s backyard dropped leaves consistently all day long for days until November 1st… When there were no more leaves to drop! We took advantage of the beautiful yellow leaf covered ground for some photos of my nieces.
And what would a personal blog post be without some real life photos from my phone!? And yes, the week of Halloween does call for dressing up as a princess EVERY DAY... and don't forget, Aunt Hannah proudly wears her Buzz hoodie all week long every Halloween. (This is an improvement from wearing it every day in high school, no matter what time of year).
I've got the cutest junior deputies.

The day I left Spokane, November 3rd, the first snow came on the way to the airport. I am not ready for winter weather. I’ve really enjoyed running the 50s and 60s. 40s can be rough and anything under 40 is brutal. Wish me luck as I train for a half marathon (of course it's in Disney World) in less than 10 weeks! The Turkey Trot comes first! Who’s running, Buffalo!?
