One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is the pleasure of seeing the same people year after year and creating real relationships with them! I LOVE my families that come to me every year and give me the opportunity to watch their kids grow up. This family has older kids, and I’ve seen them every year for 3 years now.
This past weekend, I hosted mini sessions at a christmas tree farm! I had the pleasure of seeing 5 kids that I took newborn photos for! 2 are four years old! And 2 are two, and 1 is still a baby! It is SO fun to watch these kids change and grow up, I LOVE IT! I can’t believe I’ve been doing this long enough to see these babies turning FIVE! I truly find joy seeing the kiddos regularly and being able to document each important year in their life! It is so special, because the next year they just won’t look the same! NOW is always a good time to document life! :)
These three boys have changed quite a bit since I met them. Every year they have new hair styles! Last year, their taste in clothes changed a lot from the time I saw them before. From growing taller to getting braces off, watching the three of them grow up has been a joy. I’ve also experienced the three of them maturing socially and interacting with me far less like “kids” do. They are growing up and it’s fun to watch!
The three boys clearly have a special brotherly bond and they love to laugh with their dad. The twins are super funny and love to fool around, and their older brother deals with it well.
This family has introduced me to some of my favorite people I’ve worked with, and I am grateful for the connection to Eagle Wings Ministry and The Tabernacle. Shoutout to Veronica who gave me one of the Stearns’ Christmas Cards they made with my photos! I absolutely love seeing what everyone ends up doing with my photos. I know my mom makes those Shutterfly blankets out of pictures I take of my nieces and nephews. I always want to see what you all come up with.
