Disney World | Marshall Family
Jun 11, 2018
A day at Magic Kingdom with the Marshall Family.
Stephanie and I connected on facebook through an Annual Passholder group! When I saw how frequently she makes trips into the park each week with her kiddos, I knew we would be great friends! I’m grateful to not only have her as a Disney World-loving friend, but also her family now!
Spending the morning with her kiddos was rejuvenating! I was sad to head home and leave such a wonderful family at the end of the day, but I know we’ll hang out again in January or February when Caleb and I “snow-bird” near Disney World for 6 weeks!! (That’s right! I couldn’t be more excited to come live 10 minutes from Disney World for the winter… it’s going to be awesome… and sessions like this can happen on the daily! 😍)
Little Emma wasn’t quite sure of me when we first met… but as soon as we made a connection about me liking Minnie Mouse, too… we were best friends. 😂 This sweet girl took my hand and told me all about her favorite rides.
Riley is one of the sweetest little boys I’ve ever met. He took interest in me right away, asking me if I’ve ridden Space Mountain. And as quick as can be, he was holding my hand and showing me around the park. ❤️ My heart just melts for these young ones loving Disney World as much as I do and willing to share it with me. Stephanie, I can’t wait for next winter to do Disney with you and your kids!! Seriously, a highlight of my trip.
Baby Ava was as sweet as can be and enjoyed her day in Disney without a fuss.
There really is something beautiful with the idea of a lifestyle session in the Disney World parks. I spent the whole morning with this family, truly hanging out and snapping photos along the way to document a normal Magic Kingdom day for them. I saw the biggest, most genuine smiles and laughs, and I saw some meltdowns. I witnessed naps, snack breaks, discipline, and SO MUCH FUN. This lifestyle session was so chill and relaxed, I could have forgot to take pictures 😉
We took a quick spin on Dumbo, which was a blast to take photos on!
Passing through New Fantasyland, we hung out around Seven Dwarfs Mine Train to take some photos with the castle in the background and to watch the train go by.
We took a relaxing boat ride through It’s A Small World.
These photo of Emma totally sums up my feelings of the ride, too. In fact, I’m pretty sure I look like that on most rides.
During a quick bathroom break at the best bathrooms around… The Tangled Bathrooms of course!! (See photos here that I took near the bathrooms!)... Riley, Emma and I decided to look for Pascal’s hidden friends! It’s these small, normal moments that are so real that I love so much!
Stephanie and Charles filled up their souvenir popcorn bucket!
We stopped near Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Tavern to grab some shade and a few portraits!
And we finished with a final ride on the Jungle Cruise. “The backside of water!”
No Disney photo session would be complete without a mickey ice cream bar at the end! I just can’t get over these photos of Riley chowing down on his mickey bar. The focus and determination to eat this thing before it melted is inspiring! Way to go, Riley!
You know by now that I love Disney World so much, that I will do photos there at no cost. Which is good because you can’t make money in Disney World! And I’m not willing to risk having a good relationship with Disney, and a happy photography business, in order to make a profit on these. Honestly, I love providing these memories for families like Stephanie’s that I will gladly come take photos of your vacation if you just cover the travel costs so that I can go! Bring me there, and I’ll make it happen! (You’ll probably spend less money on my travel costs than you would to pay for a photo session in your hometown). PLUS, the extra hours in Disney are more than worth it for me to make the trip!
For real, message me if you like these photos! Introduce yourself and get a conversation started! Even if you don’t need photos right now, if you’re a Disney World fan… we need to know each other! And if you DO have a trip planned, let’s chat about bringing me down to document your vacation! I would love to do that for you.
