Disney's Wilderness Lodge | Ryan & Courtney

This current blog post you are reading shows pictures from our session a couple days after the wedding.

The idea of photographing Ryan and Courtney again in their wedding clothes made my heart skip a beat. So when Courtney proposed this idea for a couple days after the wedding, I was 100% on board. Courtney had her hair and makeup done again, put on that gorgeous dress a second time… (I mean… how many of us actually put on our dress again after the wedding day!?) and met me at her favorite resort!

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge has played a huge role in Courtney’s childhood so it’s no wonder she chose this location for more bride and groom portraits! This hotel is gorgeous. The building itself is massive, but the rockwork, stream, and waterfall moved this hotel up near the top of my list! (Disney’s Polynesian Resort still takes first place though!)

On Ryan & Courtney’s actual wedding day, they didn’t see each other at their ceremony until right after sunset. We have a lot of nighttime portraits that I LOVE, but I was all about getting the two of them some portraits during the daytime, too!

I was shocked at how nice these two looked so early in the morning! Props to them for waking up freakishly early for more pictures. These are my kind of people, am I right?

This session was the perfect way to cap off a packed wedding weekend, celebrate just a little more, and see my favorite couple one last time before they headed back home to Buffalo. I hope you enjoy.
