Tifft Nature Preserve

I love taking pictures, you could probably guess. The evening I spent with Daniel and Marissa was even a little extra fun! These two arrived looking straight out of a magazine, and made my job so easy! 😉 They each have wonderful “camera smiles” and allowed themselves to have a little bit of fun and relax in front of the camera. I can create a good picture from even the most self proclaimed awkward or camera shy! As long as you can follow directions, you’ll walk away liking your photos. But I’m pretty sure Daniel and Marissa have had past model experience or something… am I right!?

We met each other at Tifft Nature Preserve… one of my favorite locations in the Buffalo, New York area!

I am grateful to be a photographer born, raised, and currently living in Western New York because of our wide variety of photo locations! Tifft Nature Preserve is the perfect example. If you want a little bit of everything for your photos, Tifft might just be the right choice for you. There’s a pond in the front, huge fields with tall grass and hills, thick forests, paths through the woods, a boardwalk, swamp, and even large rocks near water. And if you want true sunset photos, we can always drive the 30 seconds across the road to Gallagher Pier to catch the sunset on Lake Erie! 😍!

After taking advantage of Tifft’s fields, tall grasses, and pond, we hopped in the car and drove 5 minutes down the road to one of my favorite locations closer to the city. A quick outfit change and we were out in nature taking photos again… AND we had a great sunset! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night for our photos! Although, a bug did fly into my eye and I couldn’t get it out until a handful of minutes later. Besides the photographer being blind in one eye, the night went perfectly. 😂

Daniel and Marissa, thank you so much for choosing me to document this season of engagement for you! I hope you look at these photos in 10 years and they still take you right back to the moment they were taken. Let these be a true example of the love you have for each other! I wish you all the happiest of years together. Congratulations!
