I owe a big THANK YOU to Joe & Marlee for allowing me to test a new camera out on them! They received a giveaway with free photos in exchange for me fumbling my way through using this brand new camera. Thank you for your patience and understanding! I’m so glad our paths crossed.
Marlee is a professional photographer herself and she’s incredible! She focuses on family sessions, pet sessions, and family & pet sessions… and her love for animals allows her to document these precious pets in the best ways. Check her out! Marlee’s website… and follow her on facebook and instagram! She’s so kind and easy-going as well! What an honor to meet such a great photographer and be able to take their photos! Thanks Marlee and Joe!
Back to the photos. Isn’t this little gal too cute for words!?
Thanks again Marlee and Joe!
Curious what camera I was using? This was from the Sony a7r III with the 50mm lens. I was super impressed with the focus speed and accuracy, the light weight and compact body, and the general customizability of the buttons. The electronic viewfinder was truly mind-blowing, but really hard for me to master... as I felt like the view in the viewfinder, wasn't the same as the photo taken in playback (viewed on the screen), and also different from the image viewed on my computer... I had enough hold ups with it that I decided to not buy the Sony a7r III. Instead, I will be renting the Canon R6 later this month and hope to fall in love with that! I'm used to my Canon 5D Mark iii so I'm hoping to be more impressed with something that feels a bit more familiar! If you're a photographer reading this and have an opinion either way, let me know!
